Rosa Ree has released a track that seems to point out why she is becoming a force to rekon with in Nairobi and Kenyan rap. The rapper released the track Kanairo on Tuesday, September 19 that surprised so many fans.
The Tanzanian rapper spoke 4 different languages in the track leading to the confusion that was witnessed online. The rapper used Kikuyu, Kamba, and Luo in that track mixing them up with Swahili and flawless English.
Ever since she released Mama Omollo, a diss against Khaligraph Jones, Rosa Ree has continued to soar up high with various projects. Kanairo is her new release after she dropped Rosecoco a week ago.
The rapper is currently in Nairobi doing media tours and charity projects in most of the slams in the county. The media tour began at Royal Media’s Citizen Radio on Tuesday. Her final tour will be on Friday as she finishes her week of projects in the country.
In rap, however, she has dominated the country in the last month. The rapper has overtaken Femi One as the female rapper with the most attention in the region right now. This earned her a nomination at the just concluded AFRIMMA Awards where she was in the same category as Femi One.
Rosa Ree is becoming a favorite femcee in the Hip Hop community especially with the jabs she keeps throwing. She does not fear going up against arguably one of Kenya’s best rapper right now in Khaligraph Jones.
