Earn in Africa cypher

This is the first cypher under the EIA umbrella and we hope to see more initiatives like these coming up to assist rappers build a brand image. It is a good move by the entity to help in getting rappers multiple platforms where they can express their craft.

Earn in Africa cypher  dropped 4 days ago and it involved some of Kenya’s fast rising rappers. My initial reaction was a little disappointing due to the set design that looked similar to the Hennessy cypher that dropped early this year. SWAT was the first rapper on the set and his verse to be honest was a little off. It felt like the usual mashairi done during High School musicals.
Breeder LW was the next rapper on the microphone and his delivery was on point. He came in with the same energy as we are used to and had so many bars in there. His Iron Man and Hulk references were interesting. He showed a lot of creativity and improvement on his pen game. Big Baba kept on going and he even compared himself with the great Eminem. The braggadocio fit well with his persona as he rhymed over multiple entendres that would probably leave so many fans out.
Trio Mio has been one of the most impressive rappers ever since he came up. He has never dropped a bad verse. This was evident in the one he dropped on this cypher. The two, Breeder and Trio, coming in one after the other made the cypher go harder than when it started. He had good flow and his rhyme scheme was one thing that had me wanting more from him. The youngsta went hard and still delivered memorable bars while at it.
